The Partnership for Lebanon and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education launch Dialogue on Education with a third session titled: “School Internal Effectiveness”
- The dialogue on education gathered key stakeholders to foster effective collaboration with the MEHE and discuss School Internal Effectiveness
Beirut, March 6, 2009: Working closely with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, the Partnership for Lebanon launched a series of workshops titled: Dialogue on education. Gathering stakeholders, practitioners and the key players in the sector, seven sessions will be held with the objective of fostering effective collaboration among key stakeholders for the integration of ICT in Lebanon’s schools; a core component for 21st century education system. The series of workshops tackles the main challenges associated with the integration of ICT in education and invite the participant’s recommendations to address them effectively.
Previous sessions discussed topics such as “Education in the 21st Century” and “ICT in Education” and are continuing in the line of workshops introducing “School Internal Effectiveness.” The dialogue will begin with the following speakers:

Mr. Ghassan Kanso (SABIS School)
Ms. Elham Komati (Education Development Project)
Mr. Mazen El Khatib ( Lebanese Education Faculty)
Pere Georges Dimas (Representing Private Orthodox Schools)
Dr. Kamel Dallal (Representing Al Makassed Schools)
Sabah Moujaess (Principal of Dhour Choueir Public School)
This event will feature testimonials and presentations by local pioneer institutions from both the public and private education sectors as well as intervention from a Cisco Global Education expert.
